Talking fishing opener with retired conservation officer Darin Fagerman

The Minnesota fishing opener was this weekend.  Ahead of the opener, Will spoke with Darin Fagerman, avid angler and former DNR conservation officer in Cook County to get some ideas and tips.

A Lot Can Happen in the Middle of Nowhere

New book describes the making of the movie 'Fargo'

Almost everyone in Minnesota has seen or heard of the Coen Brothers’ film, “Fargo.” Whether you love or hate its depiction of Minnesotans, it was wildly popular and won two Academy Awards. Now there’s a book about the making of the movie, in delicious detail, called “A Lot Can Happen in the Middle of Nowhere,” from the Minnesota Historical Society Press. Ann spoke with the book's author, Todd Melby.

Tales of a Country Showgirl

New memoir reflects on being part of Minnesota country music scene from 1950s through the '90s

Jan Sherman is a Minnesota singer and musician who was part of the country music scene starting in the 1950s through the '90s. She’s written a wonderful memoir about her experiences called “Tales of a Country Showgirl.” Jan joined Ann on The Roadhouse to tell us more.

An expert talks the many feelings surrounding vaccines

People have been feeling many different emotions about the issue of vaccines.  Will spoke with Dr. Sophia Albott, an assistant professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at the University of Minnesota Medical School, to learn more about vaccine anxiety, guilt, and shame.

Nashville musican Caitlin Evanson joins Roadhouse

A few weeks ago we spoke with Jerry Vandiver about his role as "Jerry Berry" on his new kid's album, "Let’s Go Outside!”

This week Will was joined by Caitlin Evanson aka "Camper Cait," the other musician on the album.  They chatted about her work on the album as well as some of her adventure stories from the road, playing along with some very famous musicians.
