Community leader Bill Hansen has been on a Peace Corps stint in Uganda.  Recently due to COVID-19, Peace Corps made the unprecedented move to evacuate all of their volunteers, which included Bill.

Bill spoke with Ann and Will about his adventures in Uganda, and the process of getting home.

We might be stuck at home, but if we have a personal computer we might be able to help in the fight against the coronavirus.

Dr. Greg Bowman is the leader of a crowd-sourced supercomputing project called Folding @ Home.  He joined Will on The Roadhouse to tell us more about the project and how we can get involved.

New research from a team in Minnesota has shed light on the importance of environmental factors in the Minnesota moose population decline. Mark Ditmer, lead author of the study and a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Minnesota's College of Food Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences, joined Will on The Roadhouse to tell us more.

Many of us are staying home or working from home due to the coronavirus. That has a big impact on our mental health. Dr. Tonya Hansel, a psychologist at the Tulane University University School of Social Work, joined Ann to talk about ways to stay healthy during this time.

Josh Cleveland and the Cedar Street Band returned to WTIP to perform on The Roadhouse this weekend before playing a pair of gigs at the Gunflint Tavern.  Dave and Ann chatted with the group in between tunes to find out what they are up to.

This weekend we "sprang forward," marking the beginning of daylight saving time.  We thought this would be a good time to talk with a sleep expert about what happens to our body's rhythm during the time change and get some other sleep tips.

Dave was joined by Dr. Michael Howell, associate professor of neurology at the University of Minnesota Medical School.

Community member Bill Hansen is currently on month 10 of serving for the Peace Corps in Uganda.  Bill is helping with economic and community development, which includes helping coffee growers and even starting a band.
