Black River Revue revisits The Roadhouse
-"Freshwater bluegrass" band Black River Revue hails from Duluth/Superior--they stopped by The Roadhouse last week before they head to Texas for SXSW. The band is Adam Stariha, guitar & vocals; Ian Kvale, bass & vocals; Nate Hynum, mandolin & vocals; and Tim Leutgeb, banjo.
Plucked Up String Band turns up the energy for membership drive
-Local super string group the Plucked Up String Band joined the show for membership drive. The band is: Will Moore, upright bass; Elliott Noyce, mandolin; Bill Hansen, dobro; Matt Nesheim, banjo; Amanda Hand, guitar. They've got a new album coming out soon! You can learn more here.

-Get into the spirit of Mardi Gras with jazz musicians Chris Gillis, Thomas Stamps and Max Bichel. They joined Tracy and Jay in studio for great music as well as delightful chat about and insight into New Orleans, where both Chris and Thomas lived for many years.
