County board to act on Grand Portage law enforcement

Firefighters in northern Minnesota continue to battle a wildfire that started in August in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness and continues to burn over nearly 145 square miles.

The Pagami Creek Fire remains at 92,682 acres and is 71% contained. Aircraft were able to keep the fire’s forward progress in check on Friday.
