Rhonda Silence-North Shore Health is warning the public of a scam being perpetrated in the name of the hospital.

Bear killed after attacking three people near Isabella
Joe Friedrichs-There were two separate attacks involving the same bear on the morning of Dec. 19 at McDougal Lake in Lake County. The lake is located off Highway 1 near Isabella.
Trial canceled in Beck case following settlement
Joe Friedrichs-A long-anticipated trial in the criminal case involving former Cook County Health and Human Services Director Josh Beck is no longer scheduled to take place.
