Rose Arrowsmith DeCoux is a writer, storyteller, actress, and now...a published author. Her book, "The Marvelous Imagination of Katie Addams," has just come out. Much of the book was read on WTIP during the last year. Dave chatted with Rose Feb. 5. You can learn more about the book here. 

Hovland musician Michele Miller brought her guitar and lovely voice to Studio A Jan. 29. She played several songs, both covers and originals, and chatted with Dick and Dave.

"Everybody's Heard About the Bird" is a new behind-the-scenes account of how a group of Minnesota bands made it big on the national music scene in the '60s. Dave spoke with author Rick Shefchik to learn all about it.

Minnesota's largest solar power project went online last month atop two parking ramps at the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport. Dennis Probst, who spearheaded the project,  is executive vice president for the Metropolitan Airports Commission. He chatted with Dave Jan. 8 about the benefits of the project as well as the challenges involved. 

A recently published study suggests that all dogs alive today can trace at least some of their ancestry back to dogs that were domesticated 33,000 years ago in southern East Asia. We wanted to learn more about man's (and woman's) best friend and where they came from, so we asked Dr. Ned Patterson, associate professor in the College of Veterinary Medicine at the U of MN, to join us. He spoke with Dick Jan. 8.

South Shore jam band Floydian Slip was in town New Year's weekend to play the Tavern. They joined Dave & Buck in studio for some great music. You can learn more about the band here.
