The Roadhouse is a volunteer-produced music show with a special focus on the weekend, featuring local event and music announcements and a fun music mix. Hosted by a rotating cast of volunteers including Tracy Benson, Julie Carlson, Brian Neil and Dave TerSteeg.

Buck chatted June 8 with Dave Roeser, owner of Garden Fresh Farms, about this innovative farm that uses aquaponics in an urban warehouse setting to produce food in a sustainable manner year-round. Dave and his wife D.J. started the farm in 2010, which was named Ramsey County Family Farm of the Year for 2012.

Buck and Bob hosted four members of the Titambe Dance Ensemble May 18 for chat and music. Director Christian Adeti and his group drummed and danced at the Arrowhead Center for the Arts in Grand Marais the next evening.


 
 

Study aims to help smokers stop by finding out why quitting's so painful

Buck spoke May 18 with Dr. Mustafa al'Absi, professor of behavioral medicine at UMD and director of the Duluth Medical Research Institute, about a study he's conducting on why people who quit smoking have increased sensitivity to pain.
