Staff from the United States Forest Service are planning to conduct a 4.3 acre prescribed burn today.

The case count for COVID-19 in Cook County continues to climb. There are now 140 total cases in the county since the start of the pandemic, including three new cases in the past week.

Observant visitors to Sawtooth Mountain Clinic or North Shore Health may have noticed some activity at the blue building to the northeast of the hospital, which was once the Masonic Hall.
