Public tour of county-owned facilities will offer views of building deficiencies
Local government officials in Cook County are offering the public an opportunity to see firsthand the condition of many county-owned facilities during the month of April.
The Cook County Board of Commissioners and certain county staff will lead a tour of numerous county facilities April 8. The purpose of these tours is to see firsthand the building deficiencies and capital needs of the facilities, according to County Administrator James Joerke.
The public is welcome to attend the tours, Joerke told WTIP’s Joe Friedrichs during a recent interview. Those wanting to participate in the tours need to RSVP to the county administrator’s office by either calling (218) 387-3602 or by emailing April Zimmer.
All RSVP's should be received by April 2.
All attendees on the tour will be required to wear masks and follow COVID safety guidelines.
