St. Cloud songwriter Charlie Roth quickly returned to the North Shore for another set of shows at the Wunderbar in Grand Marais, and brought new info and stories about his upcoming album "I'm The Smile".

Valentine's Day and classic love songs go hand in hand, and Roxann Berglund and Briand Morrison dropped by WTIP to give listeners just that on February 14th. Listen below. 

Making their frequent pilgrimage up the North Shore, Wisconsinites John Adler (Sonofmel) and Jordan Grunow (Slideman) come back on the air with live new music, as well as philosophical and metaphysical discussions. They join Will Moore on the Scenic Route ahead of a show at Cascade Lodge. 

Minneapolis artist Siri Undlin performs under the name Humbird and creates stark and beautiful songs that combine "a wintry longing with the warmth of a familiar folktale". She talks with Will Moore about her artist residency in Colorado, touring by train across the United States, and more. 

Charlie Roth has been crafting songs and playing shows in the central Minnesota music scene for over 30 years. Hailing from St. Cloud, he talks with Will Moore about touring in Ireland, inspiration for lyrics, and plays songs from his upcoming album "I'm the Smile".

Jaedyn James is the singer and frontwoman for Jaedyn James & the Hunger, a large funk'n'soul band from the Twin Cities. Both her voice and stage presence are energetic and command attention.  She talks with Will Moore on the Scenic Route about starting the Hunger, her latest EP Outright, and the importance of seeing women in powerful roles on stage.

Cameron Kinghorn is the lead vocalist and frontman for Nooky Jones, a brassy soul and R&B band from the Twin Cities. He chats with Will Moore ahead of a performance at Papa Charlie's Lake Effect festival. He gives his thoughts on being labeled "neo-soul", some upcoming funkier music from the band, and more.

Rachael Kilgour is a songwriter hailing from Duluth who says her songs involve "saying out loud the things that are scariest." She has an upcoming EP entitled "Game Changer", and performs a few of the new songs live on-air during a conversation with Will Moore.

Mahtowa blues and country-folk artist Colleen Myhre returns for a live music session on the Scenic Route with Will Moore, bringing with her Tony Peterson of Duluth-based band The Social Animals on guitar. Together they create moody and harrowing blues songs with interesting stories behind them. They appear on WTIP ahead of a weekend of shows at the Gunflint Tavern in Grand Marais.
