Small fires burning above Basswood Lake in the Quetico

Two small fires are burning to the west of us in the Quetico Provincial Park. WTIP’s Jay Andersen spoke with Fort Francis Fire Operations Supervisor Mike Pistilli (PIS-tilly).

Fires restrictions begin in BWCAW

Fire restrictions will go into effect for the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness in the Tofte and Gunflint districts only starting Friday August 30th at 12:01 a.m.
