Folk musician Paul Imholte uses wide variety of string instruments to create his sound

St. Cloud-based musician Paul Imholte plays a wide variety of string instruments, including hammered dulcimer, banjo, fiddle, and many more. He joined Dave TerSteeg and Ann Possis in Studio A to play original music and discuss his tour through the Arrowhead bringing music to libraries and schools. New North Shore Coloring Book lets you 'visit' the shore from anywhere

Mike Klein is an artist working in drawing, sculpture, and community murals. When he's not creating art, he's an assistant professor in the Department of Justice and Peace Studies at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul. He's just out with a coloring book featuring images of the North Shore. He talked with Ann Possis about how he came to create the book, what art and the North Shore mean to him, and how his work in peace and justice influences his art.

The wordsmiths at Lake Superior State University have been busy compiling nominations and votes for their annual "List of Words Banished from the Queen's Engligh for Mis-use, Over-use and General Uselessness." As in years past, we checked in with John Shibley of the university's PR department to learn what really annoyed the heck out of everyone this time. The Pines talk new EP, recent projects on the Scenic Route
