Youth BWCA group focuses on promoting canoe country
A group of young people are dedicating their efforts to promoting and protecting the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.
Kids for the Boundary Waters was founded in the summer of 2018 by Joseph Goldstein, a teenager from Illinois who is no stranger to canoe country. He started advocating for its protection almost four years ago, not long after he was diagnosed with leukemia.
WTIP’s Joe Friedrichs spoke with Goldstein about the Kids for the Boundary Waters group.
