WTIP talks with Lake County official for an update on COVID-19, CARES Act funding

There are multiple confirmed cases of the new coronavirus in Lake County, home to Two Harbors, Finland, Silver Bay and other communities near and on the North Shore.

The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) confirmed Lake County’s first identified case of COVID-19 on May 6. As of July 10, there were six confirmed cases.

Lake County Emergency Management Director BJ Kohlstedt spoke with WTIP’s Joe Friedrichs for an update.
