WTIP offers new, online service for sharing area events and announcements

WTIP is excited to announce a new, user-friendly way for community members and local organizations to share information about area events and announcements.  Anyone interested in sharing information via WTIP’s airwaves - or website - can now simply submit an online request at www.wtip.org.
 
In addition to providing essential and entertaining programming, WTIP strives to keep people connected with what’s happening on the North Shore.  Local events and announcements are regularly shared on WTIP’s North Shore Morning, Weekend and Digest programs.  These programs also feature short interviews for a more in-depth look at area happenings.  And for those who prefer to access information at their convenience, local events and announcements can also be found on the WTIP website.
 
If you are a community member or local organization with information to share about an area event or announcement, or if you’d like to request an interview on WTIP’s North Shore Morning program, simply visit www.wtip.org.  The request forms can be found at the bottom of the home page, or under the EVENTS drop down menu. 
 
North Shore Morning airs every weekday from 8 to 10 am, North Shore Digest airs Monday through Thursday from 5 to 6 pm, and North Shore Weekend airs Saturday from 7 to 10 am.  WTIP is broadcasting at 90.7 fm Grand Marais/North Shore, 90.1 fm Grand Portage, and 89.1 fm Gunflint Trail.  And listeners can stream online – via computer, tablet or phone – at www.wtip.org.
