The WTIP Jeff Nemitz Tribute Show

Longtime WTIP Engineer Jeff Nemitz has been on board with the station literally since day one, helping build WTIP from the ground up.
 
Jeff likes to work behind the scenes, though his efforts are absolutely essential in making WTIP roll on a daily basis… And now, after 20 years, WTIP staff, volunteers and members of the community finally had a chance to thank Jeff for his efforts. It wasn’t easy… but WTIP got Jeff to agree to be live on the air and showered with praise for all his hard work and dedication.

On Thursday night, Feb. 28, WTIP hosted a special community conversation all about Jeff Nemitz.
 
In the studio for the program were: 

--One of WTIP’s founders, Mike Raymond;

--Longtime WTIP volunteer, host and producer, Ann Possis;

--A voice familiar from the early days of WTIP, Cathy Quinn;

--And the RadioDiva, longtime WTIP Station Manager Deb Benedict.

WTIP's Joe Friedrichs was also in studio for the program, as was the man himself, Mr. Jeff Nemitz.
