How to curb flooding issues in downtown Grand Marais and the Lake Superior watershed were key talking points during a public meeting Thursday, Jan. 25 at the Cook County Community Center.

A joint effort between the city and county, the meeting focused on an updated stormwater management plan for the city of Grand Marais.

Presenting information and leading the meeting were Carl Almer and Camilla Correll, two water resource engineers from the Twin Cities.

WTIP’s Joe Friedrichs spoke with Almer and Correll about the meeting and stormwater management in Grand Marais.
