April McCormick is running for the Grand Portage Tribal Council secretary/treasurer

The Grand Portage Band of Lake Superior Chippewa is holding its general election Tuesday, June 12. Council members are elected by enrolled members of the Grand Portage Band. 

The polls are open on Election Day, June 12, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Old Log Community Building.


Elected council members take office on July 9.

On the ballot for the June 12 election are:
For Committee Person I
Rob Hull, incumbent
William “Bill” Meyers

For Committee Person II
Mike Keyport
John Morrin, incumbent
