Vikings fans with Duluth ties regret leaving playoff game early

Minnesota Vikings football is serious business in the Mullen family. And so when it appeared the Vikings were heading toward another crushing playoff defeat on Jan. 14 against the New Orleans Saints, Scott Mullen and his daughter Megan bolted toward an exit at US Bank Stadium.
Not long after they left, what many consider the greatest play in the history of the Vikings franchise took place when wide receiver Stefon Diggs scored the winning touchdown.
WTIP’s Joe Friedrichs spoke with Megan Mullen, who was born and raised in the Duluth area and is a graduate from the University of Minnesota Duluth, about leaving early from arguably the greatest game in the history of the Minnesota Vikings.
