Two Harbors man on month-long trail clearing mission

The Kekekabic Trail, commonly referred to as "The Kek," is a hiking trail that runs about 41 miles from Snowbank Road near Ely, Minn., to the western terminus of the Gunflint Trail in northwestern Cook County. Trail maintenance is a never ending job. A Two Harbors man is spending a month in the wilderness, working to clear the Kekekabic Trail.
