Cook County’s West End townships will be holding annual meetings and elections on Tuesday, March 14. Tofte voters will be going to the polls at the Birch Grove Center to vote for a treasurer and two supervisor candidates.

Incumbent Supervisor Jeanne Larson is running for re-election to a one-year supervisor position. She is facing a write-in candidate, Sam Crowley.

Running for a three-year supervisor position is incumbent Craig Horak. He was appointed to fill the unexpired term of longtime Tofte Supervisor Paul James. He is unopposed.

Rhonda Silence talks to Horak about being a supervisor and a Tofte town board candidate in this interview.
