Man dies after falling from cliff into Caribou River

At approximately 9:30 p.m. last night (Sept. 7), Lake County law enforcement received a report of 29-year-old man from Rochester who fell into the Caribou River and was unresponsive.

There are many hundreds of seasonal homes and cabins throughout Cook County where property owners have not completed the 2020 census as of early September, according to local officials and census work
