Superior National at Lutsen is gearing up to open the Mountain Nine for golf on Friday, May 8. 

According to a media release, operations will follow COVID-19 best practices and social distancing guidelines for re-opening as set forth by Governor Walz, MN Department of Health, the CDC, and others. Golfers will be required to follow this policy.  The full policy will be available at superiornational.com.

WTIP's Sterling Anderson checked in with Heath Ekstrom, business manager and head golf professional at Superior National, to find out what's happening behind the scenes to get the course open, and well as what some of the policies will be once golfers can begin teeing off.
