Students can write their way to fully outfitted BWCA trip

All aspiring authors at Cook County High School and across the country have until 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 11 to write an essay that could award them and up to three friends a fully outfitted, five-day canoe-camping adventure in the Boundary Waters.

WTIP’s Joe Friedrichs learns the details on the essay contents in this interview with Jason Zabokrtsky, the founder of Ely Outfitting Co. who is sponsoring the contest.
