Sheriff’s Office seeking suspect in ski hill altercation

Cook County Sheriff deputies were paged to Lutsen Mountains Ski Hill yesterday morning, November 29, for a dispute between two brothers over money.

During the altercation, the suspect, Eric Laine, 45, slashed the tire on the car of his brother, John Laine. Eric Laine also rammed the victim’s car before fleeing the scene.

According to the Cook County Sheriff’s Office, the suspect has not been located yet. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Eric Lane is asked to call the Cook County Sheriff’s Office at 218-387-3030.
