Schroeder supervisor candidate speaks to WTIP
Cook County’s West End townships will be holding annual meetings and elections on Tuesday, March 14.
In Schroeder, two candidates have filed for the one supervisor seat on the ballot. Although Schroeder citizens stepped up for the supervisor seat, no one filed for the position of treasurer. If there is no write-in candidate, the Schroeder town board will have to appoint a treasurer.
For supervisor, Rick Anderson is challenging incumbent Roger “Bill” McKeever. He is the owner of Temperance Traders Liquors and Gift Shop. He a frequent attendee of Schroeder Town Meetings. He declined an interview with WTIP.
McKeever owns McKeever Well Drilling and has served as supervisor for many years. Rhonda Silence speaks with McKeever in this interview.
