School hears comments on honoring residents with court, field names

The board of the local school district (ISD 166) held a special meeting Dec. 4 primarily to accept the resignation of Principal Adam Nelson. The board opted to accept Nelson’s resignation, as he will be the superintendent at the Wrenshall School District starting in January.

Also during the special meeting, there were some public comments on a topic that wasn't on the agenda, namely what qualifies an individual to have a local court or field named in their honor. WTIP’s Rhonda Silence shares more in this report.
