Ruthie Foster on the Scenic route

Ruthie Foster is a Grammy nominated blues, folk, and gospel singer from the Austin, TX area. Her voice has been compared  to the likes of Aretha Franklinand Mavis Staples, and has won several national blues awards over the past 15 years. Will Moore caught up with her by phone as she awaited her flight to Wisconsin for a show at Big Top Chautauqua in Bayfield, Wis., the weekend of August 20.
