Results from March 14th Cook County West End elections

Voters in Lutsen, Tofte and Schroeder went to the polls on Tuesday, March 14 for local township elections. 

Here are the results:

In Tuesday’s elections, the winners for Lutsen include:
--John Groth re-elected as treasurer.
--Andrew Beavers re-elected as supervisor.
--Christine Ordemann elected to serve her first term as supervisor.
 
And for Tofte:
--3 year supervisor- Incumbent Craig Horak got 66 votes.  
--One year term supervisor - Sam Crowley received 55 write in votes Jeanne Larson got 13 votes
--Treasurer - write in Nancy Iverson received 5 votes.
 
And for Schroeder:
--Rick Anderson will be the new township supervisor. Anderson received 30 votes, defeating incumbent Roger “Bill” McKeever, who had 28 votes.
--The new treasurer in Schroder is Carla Menssen. Carla was a write-in candidate who collected 37 out of 41 votes.
