A tired but happy Ryan Redington became the 2020 John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon winner at 4:36 p.m. Tuesday. This was his second Beargrease Marathon win in three years.

He finished 14 minutes before the second-place finisher, Keith Ailie from Ray, Minn., who was also running dogs for the Redington's Callin' Trail Kennel.  Redington plans to take the best dogs from the two teams to form his Iditarod racing team.
