Raptor Center at the University of Minnesota is investigating how raptors hear

As wind energy becomes more prevalent, it is important to make sure wind turbines are as safe as possible for birds. A study at The Raptor Center at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine is investigating how raptors hear, in an effort to prevent collisions with wind turbines. Dr. Julia Ponder joined Dave on The Roadhouse to tell us more about the new research.
