Some people are blessed when it comes to finding a job that suits them. And this is certainly the case for Janice Matichuk, who is the longest serving wilderness ranger in Quetico Provincial Park located in Canada just across the international line from the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.
WTIP’s Joe Friedrichs spoke with Matichuk about life at the Cache Bay Ranger Station and working as an interior ranger at Quetico.
