Public hearing set for proposed sales-tax increase

There will be a public hearing to discuss a proposed sales-tax increase in Cook County. The hearing will be at the Cook County Courthouse on Monday, August 15 at 6 p.m. in the Commissioners’ Room. A video broadcast of the public hearing will be live streamed and recorded. These can be watched either on the county’s website or on goodmeasuremedia.com
