For the first time in months, COVID-19 took a back seat when it comes to breaking news on WTIP and the focus of media attention statewide and across the country.

As protests continue in the Twin Cities to start the month of June following the death of George Floyd, WTIP and other media are now following two highly emotional and impactful news stories. Media coverage aside, these topics also present many challenges for Minnesota residents at this time.
