Preparations underway for 2018 Empty Bowls event
The Empty Bowls dinner takes place at St. John’s Catholic Church in Grand Marais on Thursday, November 15.
In preparation for the event, The Grand Marais Art Colony has been hosting Make-A-Bowl sessions over the past weeks to provide bowls for the dinner. A session on Saturday, November 10 included members of the Cook County High School Student Council. Student Council member Malin Anderson said Empty Bowls is a great opportunity for the Student Council to volunteer in the community.
