Power outage July 12 for upper Gunflint Trail area

There will be a power outage on the Gunflint Trail from approximately 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, July 12.

The scheduled outage is due to the Cook County Highway Department replacing culverts on the Gunflint Trail at Larch Creek.

Cooperative members on the Gunflint Trail north of the Seagull Guard Station should expect to be without electricity and Arrowhead broadband while the temporary cable reroute work occurs.

This will be the first of four expected outages in the coming weeks due to the culvert replacements at Larch Creek and Seagull Creek.  Additional notifications will be made when future outages are planned.
