A poet with Cook County Connections was recently selected by The New York Times as having published one of the ten best poetry books of 2018.
Michael Bazzett's book The Popol Vuh translates the Mayan creation story into verse. Michael joined The Roadhouse during the Worldwide WTIP membership drive to read a sample from his book, as well as tell us more about the process behind translating the stories.
