Explorers Dave and Amy Freeman concluded their Year in the Wilderness on Friday, Sept. 23 at River Point Resort and Outfitting Company near Ely. Supporters traveled from Kansas, Wisconsin, Tennessee and from all over Minnesota to greet the Freemans as they departed from the wilderness boundary.

WTIP’s Joe Friedrichs has this story on some of the people who traveled many miles to show their support for the Freemans.
