October is Domestic Violence Abuse Awareness Month

The month of October has special significance for the staff and volunteers at the Violence Prevention Center. There are some outreach efforts this month, such as a candlelight vigil in Harbor Park in Grand Marais on Wednesday, October 11. The vigil is to remember those impacted by domestic violence.
