January's edition of Northern Gardening explores the ‘Cold-Hardy Plant List’ developed by the MN Department of Agriculture - specifically, how they determine what plants are on the list and whether local nurseries play a role in its development.
Hosts Diane Booth and Joan Farnam are joined by Steven Shimek, plant health specialist with the MN Department of Agriculture, and Rene Swadburg of The Blue Moose in Grand Marais.
