The November edition of Northern Gardening was all about fall gardening chores and agrophenology--the study of changes in crop production and the relative performance of different crop species and varieties over time. Hosts Diane Booth and Melinda Spinler welcomed guest David Abazs, Finland farmer and NE Sustainable Development Partnership Executive Director, to talk about using agrophenology to plan your gardening season and what fall projects you can do now to make spring gardening easier.
WTIP’s Northern Gardening airs the second Thursday of the month, from 7 to 8 p.m. – and is rebroadcast the following Saturday from 6 to 7 a.m.
