In early August the former Harbor Light Restaurant in Grand Marais came under new ownership. Chris and Teri Downing purchased the location and will rename the business “The WunderBar.” In German, the translation of wunderbar equates to “wonderful.”

Teri Downing will serve as the general manager and owner of the new business in Grand Marais. She recently spoke with WTIP’s Joe Friedrichs about plans for the restaurant and the adjoining property.
