At the start of the Tuesday, June 13 meeting of the Cook County Commissioners, Deputy Court Administrator Kim Shepard administered the oath of office for new District 1 Commissioner Robert “Bobby” Deschampe.

The county now has a full board of commissioners. Deschampe represents the communities of Colvill, Hovland and Grand Portage.

Deschampe is filling the unexpired term of former commissioner Frank Moe who resigned in December 2016.
