"Alice in France," just out from the MN Historical Society Press, is a collection of letters home from Alice O'Brien, a young St. Paul woman who volunteered in France in various roles during World War I. Nancy O'Brien Wagner, her great-niece as well as a historian, found the letters and created a fascinating portrait of her great-aunt and the times. She joined Ann Possis recently to talk about putting the book together.
