According to the National Weather Service, thunderstorms will continue overnight. A few storms may be strong to severe over portions of northern Minnesota. Hail and gusty winds are possible with these stronger storms. Heavy rain will also be possible as showers and storms continue to form and move across the same areas, possibly leading to flash flooding.

A flash flood watch is in effect through 6 a.m. from the Walker area east northeast through the Arrowhead.

Radar and observations reveal one to around three inches of rain had already fallen as of 9:50 p.m.

Thunderstorms are possible across northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin through Saturday night. Some storms Saturday afternoon and evening could be strong.
