Moose rescued on Hungry Jack Lake after breaking through ice

A young moose broke through the ice on Hungry Jack Lake on Monday, April 10. Soon afterward, residents of the Gunflint Trail took to the ice in an attempt to save the moose.

WTIP’s Joe Friedrichs spoke to Forrest Parson, the owner of Hungry Jack Lodge, who is among those who saved the moose on Hungry Jack Lake.
