Minnesota kayak manufacturer provides face shields to Sawtooth Mountain Clinic

High in demand across the country, a collection of much needed face shields for medical staff arrived to Sawtooth Mountain Clinic in early April.

With an interesting twist, the shields arrived from a Minnesota company that specializes in producing kayaks and kayak parts. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the company, Lighning Kayaks, has shifted their operations toward producing personal protection equipment for facilities across the country.
 
Peter Noren from a company in Minneapolis called Lightning Kayaks spoke with WTIP about the 50 face shields that were delivered this week to Sawtooth Mountain Clinic.
