The Sawtooth Bluffs Steering Committee met on Tuesday, Feb. 20 to discuss a draft of the vision, or master plan, for what could happen on the prime real estate that sits above the city of Grand Marais.

There are a number of options that remain on the table for what to do with the 640-acre piece of property. Among the possibilities are multi-use trails (non-motorized), a disc-golf course, a rustic campground and the development of workforce housing.

There will be a public input session on Monday, March 26 starting at 5 p.m. in the commissioners’ room at the Cook County Courthouse.

WTIP’s Joe Friedrichs spoke with Andy Hubley from the Arrowhead Regional Development Commission about the plan for Sawtooth Bluffs.
