The following is a record of calls made to the Cook County Law Enforcement Center from April 10 to 16. These are the initial calls made to law enforcement dispatchers.

Monday, April 10
9:27 a.m.  Grand Marais  Caller states a cabin owner is burning trash and the fumes enter party’s restaurant. 
10:00 a.m.  Law Enforcement Center  Testing. 
10:29 a.m.  East Highway 61 Traffic stop, citation issued.
10:51 a.m.  East Highway 61, Hovland Traffic stop, citation issued.
12:57 p.m. West Highway 61 Caller states it looks like a human foot hanging out of the trunk of a green four door sedan. Parked in front of the Arrowhead building. 
1:38 p.m. Law Enforcement Center  Party requests a callback with regards to getting back her son’s cell phone. 
1:59 p.m. Lake Superior Trading Post, Grand Marais Party states they have a wallet that was turned in to them.
2:48 p.m. Law Enforcement Center  Caller might have seen the missing Tennessee teacher and student walking down at The Point.
3:55 p.m. Law Enforcement Center  Party turned in a black backpack with a Nikon digital camera and a book in it. No names on the pack. 
4:09 p.m. Law Enforcement Center  Person in lobby reporting trash cans full at Harbor Park. Birds making a mess. County notified city hall.
4:27 p.m. Baraga Cross Road, Schroeder  Party states the electric meter on his utility pole caught fire. He put it out but it's still smoking. No power to the house. 
4:05 p.m. Bluefin Bay, Tofte Civil process attempt.
5:24 p.m. West Highway 61, Tofte Civil process attempt.
6:25 p.m. Maple Hill Drive, Gunflint Trail  Gate open that leads to the tower. He couldn't see anyone around.
7:20 p.m. Holiday Grand Marais Pair of earbuds stolen. 
7:57 p.m. Grand Marais  21 year-old male. Unable to walk and stumbling around. 
9:05 p.m. Grand Marais  Traffic stop, warning given.
     
Tuesday, April 11
2:17 a.m.  East Highway 61 Traffic stop, warning given.
2:42 a.m.  Cook County Community Center Vehicle with lights on. 
8:35 a.m.  Holiday Grand Marais  Party would like a call back.
11:19 a.m.  Grand Marais  Civil process attempt.
1:08 p.m. Law Enforcement Center  Party from Grand Portage surveillance says your video is ready.
3:36 p.m. Grand Marais  Party reporting that neighbors moved out and left the place trashed.
4:17 p.m. Law Enforcement Center  Caller spoke with deputy. 
6:39 p.m. Grand Marais  Caller reporting that it appeared that someone has tried to enter garage when party was out of town.
10:51 p.m. West Highway 61  Traffic stop, warning given.
11:13 p.m. West Highway 61, Schroeder Welfare check on party requested. Cancel, party called back.
Wednesday, April 12
     
12:09 a.m.  Grand Portage Lodge Requesting a deputy.
2:04 a.m.  Grand Portage  74-year-old male needs medical attention.
7:57 a.m.  Law Enforcement Center  Requested call back from deputy.
9:50 a.m.  Grand Portage Trading Post  Register hold up alarm at the C-store. Cancel, false alarm. 
9:53 a.m.  County Road 7, Grand Marais Residence check.
10:01 a.m.  Law Enforcement Center  Party in for fingerprints – deputy assisted.
10:53 a.m.  Bucks Hardware, Grand Marais Party attempted shoplifting a cigarette lighter. Party did buy bottle of coke 
11:27 a.m.  Mn/DOT garage, Grand Marais Out with a pig.
12:40 p.m.  Grand Marais  Suspicious juveniles in a vehicle parked by the school.
2:17 p.m. West Highway 61, Schroeder Motorist hit deer and not sure what to do. Doesn't need medical.
2:20 p.m. Cook County North Shore Health 911 hang up from hospital. County rang back and got main desk. All okay there. They transferred call to the nurses station, all okay there too. 
2:27 p.m. Law Enforcement Center  Requested deputy call back.
4:17 p.m. Grand Marais  Has been receiving potentially fraudulent/scam phone calls.
4:30 p.m. Grand Portage  Child hit by school bus, minor injury.
6:44 p.m. Law Enforcement Center  Party would like to talk to deputy. 
7:24 p.m. Elbow Lake Access, Grand Marais White Chevy Silverado/Boldt Construction truck and tan vehicle with Wisconsin plate involved in suspicious activity at this location. 
8:29 p.m. Grand Marais  Civil process attempt.
11:49 p.m. Grand Portage  Casino walkthrough. 
11:58 p.m. East Highway 61, Grand Portage Reporting a couple bags of garbage at the boat access.

12:03 a.m.  US Customs, Grand Portage  Foot patrol.
1:39 a.m.  East Highway 61, Grand Portage Traffic stop, clear.
7:25 a.m.  Law Enforcement Center  Inmate transport.
7:57 a.m.  Cook County High School School patrol.
8:26 a.m.  Gunflint Trail  Picking up garbage from the roadway. 
8:34 a.m.  County Road 7, Grand Marais Residence check.
10:19 a.m.  West Highway 61, Tofte Traffic stop, warning given.
10:43 a.m.  East Highway 61, Hovland Traffic stop, citation issued.
12:35 p.m. Gunflint Trail  Traffic stop, citation issued.
1:09 p.m. Devil Track Road, Grand Marais Tree leaning over the roadway.
1:41 p.m. Grand Portage  Civil process attempt.

2:25 p.m. West Highway 61 Traffic stop, warning given.
4:16 p.m. Grand Marais  Civil process attempt.
4:16 p.m. Good Harbor Trail/County Road 7, Grand Marais Horse and a donkey on the side of the road eating some bushes. 
4:41 p.m. S. Brule Road, Grand Marais Advising he had to leave his trailer about 2 1/2 miles in on this road as it got stuck. Is working the timber cut for this area. It is a long straight stretch and a vehicle could get around it. There were no fresh tracks in the snow/ice. 
5:32 p.m. Grand Marais City Hall  Foot patrol.
7:11 p.m. Grand Marais  Medic help button pushed. 
7:31 p.m. Aspen Lodge, Grand Marais Black lab is running around this location. Pink/yellowish collar.
7:44 p.m. West Highway 61, Tofte Traffic stop, warning given.
8:49 p.m. West Highway 61 Traffic stop, warning given.
10:06 p.m. Law Enforcement Center  Attempt to locate warranted individual.
10:45 p.m. Law Enforcement Center  Phase 1 911 call with no one on phone. On call back, no answer and voice mail not setup. 
10:28 p.m. West Highway 61 Reporting seeing a juvenile male skateboarding down the middle of Highway 61 heading westbound from this location wearing all black.

12:48 a.m.  North Broadway, Grand Marais Foot patrol downtown.
1:29 a.m.  US Customs, Grand Marais  Sounds of an alarm going off in the Coast Guard building on the point 
6:12 a.m.  East Highway 61, Grand Portage Car/deer with severe front end damage. Volkswagon Jetta.
6:57 a.m.  East Highway 61, Grand Portage Traffic stop, warning given.
8:01 a.m.  East Highway 61, Grand Portage Traffic stop, clear.
8:11 a.m.  East Highway 61, Grand Portage Traffic stop, clear.
9:48 a.m.  West Highway 61, Lutsen Traffic stop, warning given.
10:27 a.m.  Grand Marais  Party in the lobby to speak with a deputy.
11:42 a.m.  West Highway 61, Tofte Theft of 2 chain saws. Occured sometime in the past month. 
12:56 p.m. Law Enforcement Center  Received permit to purchase application.
1:52 p.m. Grand Marais  Management dropped off a copy of a no trespass letter.
2:25 p.m. Cook County Courthouse Inmate transport.
3:26 p.m. Grand Marais  Trespassed party on the property. 
3:33 p.m. Gunflint Tavern Lost a clear wallet. Owner last used at this business, but not there.
3:38 p.m. West Highway 61, Tofte Disagreement about payment for services rendered. 
4:09 p.m. Devil Track Road, Grand Marais  Ran out of gas.
5:13 p.m. Sobanja Lane/County Road 6, Grand Marais  Vehicle in ditch took out mailboxes.
5:15 p.m. Grand Marais  Party is sitting in his vehicle on roadway at end of driveway 
6:22 p.m. Hall Road/West Highway 61  White BMW driving erratically and speeding, windows blacked out. Temp plates. 
6:25 p.m. West Highway 61 Vehicle with 4 way hazards on. 
6:43 p.m. West Highway 61, Tofte Traffic stop, warning given.
Saturday, April 15
12:34 a.m.  N Broadway Ave, Grand Marais Foot patrol in business district. 
12:44 a.m.  Holiday Grand Marais  70-year-old male got a Sober Cab ride but not sure where his home is.
4:31 a.m.  Grand Portage Community Center Automated burglary alarm going off. Key holder is pending. 
9:44 a.m.  West Highway 61 Traffic stop, warning given.
10:25 a.m.  East Highway 61, Hovland Traffic stop, warning given.
10:42 a.m.  East Highway 61 Traffic stop, warning given.
11:57 a.m.  Gunflint Trail  Traffic stop, warning given.
12:38 p.m. Gunflint Trail Traffic stop, warning given.
2:27 p.m. Law Enforcement Center  Theft of pontoon boat.

5:37 p.m. Wildwood Lane, Tofte Black Toyota Camry parked in his driveway for the last few days or so.
7:15 p.m. Grand Marais Water Tower Passed in no passing zone by dark colored Chevy pickup northbound on Gunflint Trail. Wisconsin plates, open bed full of stuff.
8:59 p.m. 15 N. Broadway Ave, Grand Marais Foot patrol in Grand Marais.
9:26 p.m. Grand Marais Liquor Store Traffic stop, warning given.

10:34 p.m. Ski Hill Road  Foot patrol.
Sunday, April 16
6:56 a.m.  West Highway 61 Traffic stop, citation issued
7:24 a.m.  West Highway 61 Traffic stop, citation issued.
9:50 a.m.  East Highway 61 Caller states she picked up a white/tan bulldog running down the highway. No collar. 
12:51 p.m. West Highway 61 Traffic stop, warning given.
1:40 p.m. Lutsen Mountains Female with a possible broken upper arm. 
1:56 p.m. Gunflint Trail  Traffic stop, citation issued
5:02 p.m. Grand Marais  Unwelcome party is parked by apartments, trying to come up and around the back side.
5:17 p.m. Grand Marais  Parking complaint regarding apartment resident who has been leaving vehicles parked in the bus stop area for several days. He's moved them a little bit each day but is still blocking the bus stop and party is afraid for safety of the kids on the school bus and for the older adults on the Arrowhead Transit bus 
10:57 p.m. West Highway 61, Schroeder  Vehicle went into ditch. No injuries.
