The following is a record of calls made to the Cook County Law Enforcement Center from Monday, April 3 to Sunday, April 9. These are the initial calls made to law enforcement dispatchers.

Monday, April 3
2:11 a.m. Grandma Rays Taking party home. 
5:34 a.m. Grand Marais  57-year-old male needs medical assistance.
7:24 a.m. Lutsen  Safe routes to school - following bus checking for stop arm violations. 
7:57 a.m. Law Enforcement Center  Inmate transport.
10:43 a.m. Law Enforcement Center  Permit to carry application.
11:13 a.m. N Broadway Ave, Grand Marais Foot patrol in business district.
11:42 a.m. Lutsen  Civil process attempt.
12:46 p.m. Law Enforcement Center  Party would like a callback.
1:38 p.m. Lutsen Mountains A Snowcat is on fire on one of their runs. No response needed. Just wanted us to know since it's causing a lot of black smoke 
1:31 p.m. Grand Marais  Checking speeds out of the school lot.
3:33 p.m. Grand Portage  Party states party was taken by other party against their will.
3:45 p.m. Grand Portage Commercial security alarm at this building, false alarm.
4:55 p.m. Grand Portage Received report about under age drinking.
9:04 p.m. West Highway 61 Traffic stop, warning given.
Tuesday, April 4
     
12:27 a.m. Surfside, Tofte Checking pool and spa building. 
4:49 a.m. Hovland  Party needs help lifting elderly male.
7:27 a.m. Law Enforcement Center  Inmate transport. 
7:28 a.m. Lutsen  Safe routes to school - follow bus looking for stop arm violations. 
8:06 a.m. Law Enforcement Center  Inmate transport.
8:38 a.m. Law Enforcement Center  Permit to purchase application.
10:58 a.m. Johnson’s Foods Party advising his truck was backed into in this parking lot. No injuries. Cook County explained as long as no injuries and in private parking lot, parties can exchange information on their own without law enforcement. If party’s employer needs police report, deputy can respond.
11:07 a.m. Law Enforcement Center  Party in lobby picked up a dog downtown on Highway 61. 
11:37 a.m. Grand Marais Traffic stop, warning given.
1:25 p.m. Law Enforcement Center  Party asking for deputy to call back.
2:34 p.m. East Highway 61 Traffic stop, warning given.
4:10 p.m. Law Enforcement Center  Requested call back from deputy. 
5:20 p.m. Grand Marais  Calling regarding condition of Old Ski Hill Road.
8:33 p.m. Grand Portage   Party requesting human services advocate.
     
Wednesday, April 5
12:27 a.m. North Broadway, Grand Marais Foot patrol in business district. 
3:34 a.m. Gofer Trailer Court, Grand Marais Party states there was a bunch of people that were going thru party’s van. 
8:17 a.m. Law Enforcement Center  Party in for fingerprinting. 
8:24 a.m. E Hwy 61, 2gp  Traffic stop, warning given.
9:17 a.m. US Customs, Grand Portage  Wrong turn driver from Canada with 15 gm of marijuana.
12:42 p.m. Grand Portage  Domestic.
1:55 p.m. Law Enforcement Center  Inmate transport.
2:01 p.m. Grand Portage Community Center  Public assist.
2:05 p.m. Cook County Courthouse Assist probation with a home visit. 
2:24 p.m. East Highway 61 Traffic stop, warning given.
2:34 p.m. East Highway 61 Traffic stop, warning given.
3:16 p.m. Grand Marais  41-year-old female needs medical assistance, racing heart.  
3:17 p.m. Grand Portage  Probation and Cook County Public Health advising they will be at this address.
5:37 p.m. US Coast Guard Station  Two abandoned bikes down by the ramps onto the dock by the Coast Guard Station. Small childrens' bikes. Not sure if kids are in the area or not 
5:40 p.m. Grand Portage  Reported domestic assault on Monday.
5:49 p.m. Bluefin Bay, Tofte 911 hang up call - rang back and it was a misdial. 
6:19 p.m. Cascade River Wayside Rest Assist State Patrol with driving complaint on white camper van. 
9:11 p.m. Grand Marais  Suspicious vehicles. 
10:22 p.m. East Highway 61 Burmese mountain dog missing. Normally goes out and comes back at this time of night and has not returned.
Thursday, April 6
     
9:00 a.m. East Highway 61, Grand Portage Traffic stop, citation issued.
11:58 a.m. East Highway 61 Traffic stop, citation issued.
1:06 p.m. West Highway 61 Traffic stop, warning given.
3:53 p.m. Law Enforcement Center  Report of abuse. 
4:44 p.m. Grand Portage  Child protection.
8:38 p.m. Arrowhead Trail/East Highway 61 Traffic stop, warning given.
     
Friday, April 7
6:39 a.m. Gunflint Trail Traffic stop, warning given.
1:23 p.m. Lutsen Lutheran Church Caller request a welfare check on individual at this location.
2:12 p.m. West Highway 61 Traffic stop, warning given.
2:15 p.m. West Highway 61 Traffic stop, warning given.
2:29 p.m. West Highway 61 Traffic stop, warning given.
2:45 p.m. Cook County High School Altercation at school. 
2:47 p.m. West Highway 61 Traffic stop, warning given.
5:27 p.m. Grand Marais   Reported what appears to be a water main break by their employee cabins. 
6:50 p.m. Law Enforcement Center  Requested deputy call back.
6:52 p.m. Law Enforcement Center  Requested deputy call back. 
7:43 p.m. Irish Creek Road, Hovland  Culvert washed out on Irish Creek Road - 3 or 4 feet deep and a couple feet across. 
10:13 p.m. East Highway 61  Possible overdose.
11:43 p.m. Grand Marais   Received a possible criminal sexual conduct case.
     
Saturday, April 8
10:32 a.m. West Highway 61 Car versus deer. Deer needs to be dispatched. No injuries. 
10:44 a.m. Law Enforcement Center Party requests a callback.
11:05 a.m. West Highway 61 Traffic stop, warning given.
1:58 p.m. Schroeder  Garage broken into.
4:14 p.m. South Shore Drive, Grand Marais  Report of a lot of vehicles parked at East Devil Track Lake. Snowmobiles water skipping.
4:24 p.m. Lutsen  Motion alarm at this location, cancelled.
4:25 p.m. East Highway 61  Basement motion alarm going off at this address, cancel false alarm.
4:57 p.m. East Highway 61  Traffic stop, warning given.
6:16 p.m. East Highway 61, Grand Portage Traffic stop, warning given.
6:41 p.m. Grand Marais  Residence check.
7:44 p.m. Eagle Ridge, Lutsen Flagged down by two parties.
8:41 p.m. West Highway 61, Tofte Traffic stop, citation issued.

2:17 a.m. Eagle Ridge, Lutsen Guest being loud. Have asked them several times to be quiet. 
2:54 a.m. Eagle Ridge, Lutsen 2 juveniles walking around.
9:21 a.m. West Highway 61 Traffic stop, warning given.
9:30 a.m. West Highway 61 Traffic stop, warning given.
9:58 a.m. Linnell Rd, Grand Marais Multiple 911 hang-ups from this number. No answer on callback 
11:14 a.m. Grand Marais  Reporting a wood engraved sign missing. Doesn't want a deputy, just wanted law enforcement to be aware. 
11:16 a.m. Gunflint Trail Found two dogs, returned to owner.
12:23 p.m. West Highway 61 Traffic stop, warning given.
12:26 p.m. Gunflint Trail Traffic stop, citation issued.
